Background Checks - Required For All Volunteer Coaches
The NJ State Police
has revised the rules and regulations for their background checks for
townships. If you have not had a background check within the last 3 years
you must follow this new process.
Please call the East Hanover Rec Department at 973-428-3090 and ask
either Fran (prompt 1) or Linda (prompt 2) if you need to get a new
background check. If you do,
you must go to the East Hanover Rec Department and pick up the required
forms and instructions. The
fee will be $26.50 and must be paid by the
applicant.
Rutgers Safety Certification - Required For All Volunteer Coaches
Your Rutgers Safety Training Certification is good for 5 years. If you need to renew your Rutgers Certification, please visit http://www.youthsports.rutgers.edu/ to see where the next clinic is in the area.
