Background Checks - Required For All Volunteer Coaches
The NJ State Police
has revised the rules and regulations for their background checks for
townships. If you have not had a background check within the last 3 years
you must follow this new process.
Please call the East Hanover Rec Department at 973-428-3090 and ask
either Fran (prompt 1) or Linda (prompt 2) if you need to get a new
background check. If you do,
you must go to the East Hanover Rec Department and pick up the required
forms and instructions. The
fee will be $26.50 and must be paid by the
applicant.
Rutgers Safety Certification - Required For All Volunteer Coaches
Your
Rutgers Safety Training Certification is good for 5 years. If you
need to renew your Rutgers Certification, The Florham Park Recreation
Department will be hosting a Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y Coach Clinic on Tuesday, February 23rd, from
6:30-9:30pm, at the Florham Park Community
Center. Registration will be at 6:15pm. The cost will now be $30
(checks preferred - made payable to Florham Park Recreation
Department). East Hanover coaches are
welcome to attend. They should RSVP by calling Florham Park Rec.
